1. Overview
These Terms & Conditions govern the M Star Scholarship Test (the "Test") organized by M Star ("Organizer"). They explain eligibility, registration, conduct rules, scoring, awarding of scholarships, privacy, liability, and dispute resolution.
2. Eligibility
- Participants must meet the age and academic criteria listed on the official registration page. If no specific criteria are listed for a category, participation is open to all students.
- Employees of the Organizer, their families, and any person professionally associated with the administration of the Test are not eligible to participate unless specific exemptions are announced.
- The Organizer reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any participant who provides false or misleading information.
3. Registration & Fees
- To register, participants must complete the online registration form and pay any applicable fees (if the Test requires a fee). Payment confirmation is required to finalize registration.
- Registration details (name, date of birth, educational details, contact information) must be accurate and up to date. The Organizer is not responsible for emails or notifications not received due to incorrect details provided by the participant.
- All fees (if any) are non-refundable except in circumstances where the Organizer cancels the Test.
4. Test Conduct
- The Test will be conducted in the format described on the official information page (online / offline format, time duration, number of questions, permitted materials).
- Participants must follow all instructions provided by proctors, invigilators, and in-test prompts. Any attempt to cheat, use unauthorized aids, or collude with other participants will result in immediate disqualification.
- The Organizer may record, monitor, and log activity during the Test for security and integrity purposes. By taking the Test, participants consent to such monitoring.
5. Scoring & Results
- Scoring methodology (marks per question, negative marking, tie-break rules) will be published on the official Test rules page. Participants are responsible for checking the methodology before taking the Test.
- Preliminary results will be published within the timeframe stated by the Organizer. Final results are subject to verification and correction in case of errors.
- The Organizer reserves the right to withhold, amend, or cancel results if irregularities or technical issues are discovered.
6. Scholarships & Awards
- Scholarships and awards will be given as described in the scholarship announcement for the specific Test edition. Awards may be full or partial tuition scholarships, cash grants, or other benefits as specified.
- Scholarship winners must comply with any additional eligibility checks and provide supporting documentation (proof of identity, academic records, bank details) as requested by the Organizer.
- If a winner cannot comply or is found ineligible after award, the Organizer may revoke the scholarship and award it to the next eligible candidate at its discretion.
7. Personal Data & Privacy
By registering, participants consent to the collection, storage, and processing of their personal data for administration of the Test, communication, result processing, fraud prevention, and awarding of scholarships. The Organizer will handle personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
- Contact details may be used for announcements, results, and news about future Tests unless the participant opts out where applicable.
- The Organizer will not sell personal information to third parties. Data may be shared with third-party service providers who assist in Test administration under appropriate confidentiality agreements.
8. Code of Conduct
- Participants must behave respectfully to staff, proctors, and other participants. Aggressive or abusive behavior may lead to immediate removal and disqualification.
- Participants must not record, photograph, or transmit test questions or test content unless express permission is granted by the Organizer.
9. Intellectual Property
All test materials, questions, and content are the intellectual property of the Organizer or its licensors. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or publication is prohibited and may lead to legal action.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of participation in the Test, including but not limited to technical failures, data loss, or disappointment with results.
11. Changes & Cancellation
- The Organizer reserves the right to modify the Test schedule, rules, format, and Terms & Conditions at any time. Any material changes will be communicated via the official website and registered email addresses.
- In case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances (force majeure, legal restrictions, widespread technical failure), the Organizer’s liability is limited to a possible refund of fees at the Organizer's sole discretion.
12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Organizer is registered. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless parties agree to an alternative dispute resolution mechanism.
